Joe Sweeney is a Managing Director.
He specializes in providing merger and acquisition, capital sourcing and general corporate advisory services to clients of the firm.
Joe brings an extensive background in hands-on business experience. Joe has owned and operated four manufacturing companies and has
over twenty years experience in the mergers and acquisitions business. Prior to joining
Corporate Financial Advisors, Joe founded and was President of SMG, a sports
management firm that specializes in assisting and representing coaches and athletes in securing contracts and marketing deals.
Joe was also
President of the Wisconsin Sports Authority.
Joe received his BA from St. Mary's College and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Joe serves or has served on numerous community and corporate boards, including one of the Milwaukee area’s largest Harley-Davidson dealerships, The Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corp., The MACC Fund, Town Bank, Dielectric Corporation, Nashville Predators, Drill Master Tool, Camouflage Kids, St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation, Governor’s Council on Health and Physical Fitness, University of Notre Dame, Wisconsin Sports Hall of Fame, and Badger State Games as well as several others. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, Marquette University and Northwestern University Business School. He also serves in the capacity of advisor to a number of privately held businesses in southeastern Wisconsin and he is a private investor in numerous Wisconsin based companies.
